Join us in the back dining room for Grilling….With a Southern Accent on Thursday, October 27th at Relish of Thomasville.  Owner, Cameron Jahnke welcomes Chef Jessica and her husband Chris from KitchenAble Cooking School for another demonstration style cooking class featuring several dishes prepared with grilling techniques utilizing and featuring the star of the show the Big Green Egg …quite possibly the most versatile cooking device ever.

We will fire up the grill on the back porch as we step aside from preparing the traditional grilled fare; the evening’s menu will include these scrumptious dishes for you to enjoy:

Fig and Onion Flatbread
Dried local figs and caramelized vidalia onions pair perfectly with Sweet Grass Dairy’s Thomasville Tomme cheese; cooked on the Green Egg
Smoked Tomato Soup
A creamy soup made with smoked tomatoes and fresh herbs
Grilled Seasonal Vegetables
Winter squash, okra, scallions, and whatever else we find in season at the Farmer’s Market; tossed in Georgia pecan oil and seasoned to perfection
Pulled Pork Sliders
Gently cooked for hours, this tender pork is packed with flavor and complemented perfectly with our mango slaw on Hawaiian rolls
Fresh Fruit Cobbler
A mélange of fresh, seasonal fruit topped with Georgia pecans, Cooked in a skillet on our Green Egg
