We have received a lot of complements for our custom embroidered aprons. Several of our students have asked to purchase them. That is now an option, we just received our first shipment and now offer the aprons in White ($30), Navy ($30), or Washed Denim ($35). All aprons are made of stain resistant fabric with adjustable neck bands and two large front pockets. Machine wash, air-dry.

It is difficult for us to imagine but, summer will soon be here. After receiving several requests from local media and parents, we have realized that it is time to share our summer camp plans. We are planning 4 weeks of summer camp this year. You can choose from the following weeks:
Our summer camp sessions will be from 10:00am until 2:00pm and will include a large lunch prepared by the participants each day. Camp will be “hands-on” so we are limiting the number of participants. To register for camp you will need to pay $25.00 and then the balance of $150 for the remaining camp fee can be paid one week prior to your scheduled camp start.
Participants must be 6 or older and will be expected to conduct themselves appropriately during participation.
This spring we are very excited to again participate in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s Curriculum. The big field trip planned for the members this term, to Spain, is the inspiration for our 6-week class series entitled “The Spanish Kitchen”. Further information on the classes will be provided to OLLI members in the course catalog. For information on OLLI please visit their website here. Classes will be on Mondays and Wednesday: 11:30am-1:30pm. The same recipes will be taught in both classes and participants may choose and register for whichever day works best for their schedule. Space is limited- and the class normally sells out so please only attend on your scheduled day. It is an honor to participate in this program with FSU and OLLI.
Thank you so very much for helping make KitchenAble such a fun place to work. Since Thanksgiving we have had at least one private party a week and numerous other special events in addition to the regularly scheduled classes. It has kept us busy but we are very grateful for the privilege of helping make delicious memories for all of you. Please forgive the delay with posting our Spring schedule but it is on the way. Several classes are already posted on our calendar and more will be listed soon!
If you have any requests or suggestions for a class please shoot us an email at: info @ KitchenAble.net (no spaces). The next time you plan an event we hope you will consider having KitchenAble help in some way.
Very Truly Yours,
Thank you to everyone that attended our Homemade Christmas Open House yesterday. We had a wonderful turnout and were delighted to share our cottage with all of the talented artists. With Buche de Noel, Sugar Cookies, Fudge, Vidalia Fondue & crackers, Hot Cider, Holiday Sangria, and Scottish Shortbread on the menu- the artists were anything but starving! It was so wonderful to see so many of our “regulars” come out to show support to our small business and the independent artists of our community. We are very grateful.
Are you trying to find the perfect gift for a foodie? Need something to give the person that has everything? For a limited time we will have an assortment of local, delicious, gourmet food and seasoning items that have been featured in our classes. Our favorite hot sauce from Sump’n Hot, our favorite grits and Cornmeal from Bumpy Road Farm, of course our signature seasoning- KitchenAble Seasoning, and we are excited to introduce an assortment of our favorite loose teas (in 3 delicious flavors). We are happy to help you create a delicious gift basket that features local flavor or supply a few items to stuff stockings with.
We also offer Gift Certificates! They are available for purchase through our site and we can either email a printable copy to you or provide the certificate and an envelope for you to present.
