Join us at KitchenAble this March as we explore some of the rich flavors of France and tour a few of the unique regions to explore their signature dishes. Normandy, Alsace, Loire, and Burgundy will be featured over the 4-week series.
Week 2- Alsace- Inspired by the cheese made by monks in the Muenster valley, we will enjoy a creamy cheese spread on French bread with a side of traditional Alsatian Cherry Soup. Our next course will be a Tart Flambee, or bacon and onion tart. Clafloutis will be our grand finale, studded with fresh plums this baked custard is credited with origins in Limousin but can nowbe found throughout France and in Alsace.
Cost for the class is $40 and included in the fee is a recipe packet and a full meal of the dishes prepared in the demonstration. Chilled water and coffee are available; and as always guests are welcomed to bring in your favorite beverage if you wish.
