Description
Join us at KitchenAble this March as we explore some of the rich flavors of France and tour a few of the unique regions to explore their signature dishes. Normandy, Alsace, Loire, and Burgundy will be featured over the 4-week series.
Week 1- Normandy, March 7– With an abundance of cows and the milk they produce this region is rich with many wonderful things. The flavorful cheese, Boursin, was invented here. For this class you’ll learn to blend your own as we mix fresh herbs from our garden into this creamy cheese then enjoy a fresh and flavorful appetizer. Our entrée will be reminiscent of a delicious dish we enjoyed at a Ferme-Auberge near Vire with Roast Veal and Potatoes. Afterward we’ll enjoy a Salade Aux Lardons and then finish our meal with a decadent Crème Brulee.
Cost for the class is $40 and included in the fee is a recipe packet and a full meal of the dishes prepared in the demonstration. Chilled water and coffee are available; and as always guests are welcomed to bring in your favorite beverage if you wish.
Doors open at 6:00 pm. Seating is limited. Please book your reservation in advance by paying with any credit card through our website at www.KitchenAble.net. We can be reached by email at Info@kitchenable.net or by phone (850)264-2308.
