Description

This summer camp session will be June 1-5, Monday- Friday (drop-off 9am-9:30, pickup 2:30-3:00pm)  and is recommended for ages 7 and older, and will include a meal prepared during camp each day.  Total cost for week of camp is $300 per participant (or $275 if they are attending with a sibling or friend that they can sit beside*).

A broad range of topics will be taught that include:  Kitchen Safety, Basic Kitchen Skills, basic knife skills, menu planning, nutrition, the science of baking, how to understand (and follow) a recipe, and proper dish washing technique.

Our camp has a very limited number of available seats.  This non-refundable payment will cover camp for one child.

Campers will receive lunch each day, an apron, recipe packet, and certificate of completion, that they will take home at the end of their week.

Participants will be expected to conduct themselves appropriately during participation.  In addition to fun with food we will discuss health and nutrition.  Please be aware that children who attend this program will be expected to taste at least one small bite of all we prepare- unless they have a food allergy. (Parents, thank you for supporting this policy.)

Participants will be sitting beside a sibling or friend if they attend as a pair- they will be 6 feet from other attendees.  We will be following the CDC and Department of Health guidelines and will be monitoring the health of attendees. *If you qualify for the reduced rate please register here and note in your registration who your child will be sitting beside and the $50 will be credited back to your account.
