This week we are returning to the islands with Jerk chicken! If you joined us last week chances are you will want to come back for more Jamaican delights.
Our August 9th class will feature Jamaican Jerk Chicken.
For the spice and flavor we will make our own Jerk seasoning and a Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce. Sides will include Sweet potato fritters and Jamaican Pigeon Peas with Coconut Rice. For dessert you are in for a sweet and sour treat when you’ll learn to prepare a special tamarind candy.
Cost for the class is $40 and included in the fee is a recipe packet and a full meal of the dishes prepared in the demonstration. Chilled water and coffee are available; and as always guests are welcomed to bring in your favorite beverage if you wish.
