Explore the flavors South East Asia, and learn about foods popular in the Philippines. In this class we will make the popular Filipino dish Pancit Bihon (a quick, noodle dish of rice vermicelli with pork and vegetables). There are many variations of this dish and its known to be as popular at street stands as it is at family gatherings. We will pair our version with Pork Kebabs, or Pinoy, perfectly seasoned Filipino style. The menu will also include Mango and Tomato Salad and for dessert Ginataang Bilo Bilo with Langka, coconut pudding with tapioca pearls and jackfruit.
Cost of class is $40 and included in the fee is a recipe packet and a full meal of the dishes prepared in the demonstration. Chilled water and coffee are available; and as always guests are welcomed to bring your favorite beverage if you wish.
