Thank you for all of the interest in our pie class!  We’ve listened and on Tuesday, November 21 we are offering a repeat of our Nov 7 pie class (at 6:00pm).  Find pie crust perfection with our famous Pâte Brisée recipe (that’s the French term for this pie crust).  Our recipe is made with butter and a few other basic ingredients to yield a flaky, tender crust.  Delicious for both savory and sweet recipes we’ll enjoy both.  First we’ll learn pastry basics then we’ll enjoy an entrée of a Leek and Onion Pie (topped with creamy chèvre), then we’ll make and enjoy Cranberry Apple Pie and Drambuie Pumpkin Pie with Cinnamon Whipped Cream and balance out the meal with a fresh Green Salad. In addition to learning to make the pastry we will also discuss pastry techniques including lattice and other embellishments.  

Cost of class is $40 and participants receive a recipe packet and a full meal of the featured dishes from the demonstration.   Chilled water and coffee are available;  and as always guests may bring a favorite beverage if you wish.
