Learn to make our famous Bûche de Noël cake and decorate your own to take home and enjoy! Friday- December 20 at 6pm ($40).
We are famous for our version of this traditional French Christmas dessert (many people say we make the best they have tasted). Come and decide for yourself as you help prepare your own version to take home. First learn the rich but light recipe for a dark chocolate sponge cake and the technique to make a jellyroll style cake. Then learn the creamy whipped, mocha filling recipe, candied mushrooms, and classic chocolate frosting. We’ll finish up the class by learning to assemble and decorate this beautiful cake that is sure to be the center of attention at your holiday gathering. Class time will be 6:00pm (until 8pm) Cost will be $40 per person.
*Assembled cake does require refrigeration so make sure your refrigerator (or freezer) is ready for the cake you will be bringing home. Cake will be prepared on a disposable platter, if you prefer you can bring a platter from home to use instead.
All ages are welcome to participate in this class.

I’ve participated in.this very special class for the.past 2 years and in my opinion, this is at the top of Kitchenable’s offerings.. Despite Jessica’s expert tutelage I do not ever want to.take on making this incredible French dessert on my own. Instead I will return to my favorite cooking school every Christmas week to join this hands-on fun and leave with my own Buche de Noel to share with friends and family.
