“The Knife’s Edge” by TaMaryn Waters, Tallahassee Democrat. May 9, 2014

TaMaryn Waters of the Tallahassee Democrat joined us in the cooking cottage and wrote this lovely article for the paper. If you visit the paper’s website you can also find two videos they shot on cutting and knife safety as well as a gallery of images that were taken by Glenn Beil. Special thanks to both TaMaryn and Glenn for coming out and making sure that none of the Rosemary Garlic Fries went to waste!

“Bring Your Own Knife” by Pat Steinkueheler, Tallahassee Democrat. May 1, 2014

We were lucky to have Pat Steinkueheler from the Tallahassee Democrat’s Blog Staff visit for one of our first classes.  You can read about her experience here, and based on her own confessions we hope she returns soon for more classes so she can dine on more than TV dinners!

Student Testimonials

“I have been a cook for over sixty years and thought I knew just about everything. Not so. I have attended several of Jessica’s classes and found them to be fun, interesting, and I always learn a lot. The class concepts are easily translated into my own kitchen and do not require ingredients that I’ll never use again. I took several of her recipes and made them for a party with a group of friends. Everyone loved it. How fun to try new ideas in the kitchen.”

“Jessica, I very much enjoyed your presentation at the Garden Club on Thursday. I am planning to make your field pea salad for a lunch we are having in our neighborhood next week. Thank you!”
